A few of Poplar Spring's residents were featured on Animal Planet's program, "The Pet Psychic." A camera crew from the show re-visited Poplar Spring in order to film an update showing how Alice and William are doing since their meeting with Sonya Fitzpatrick, the Pet Psychic.

Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary is featured in episode #5 of Animal Planet's very popular program, "The Pet Psychic."

Here's an excerpt from the episode description on Animal Planet's web site: "Homer the pig is hold up in his pen. He's unable to move his back leg. His vet is perplexed, so Sonya steps in to help." The two other sanctuary residents with whom Sonya communicated during her visit are Alice, a turkey, and William, a sheep.
